Who are Dhillon of London?
Dhillon of London is the new trading name of Bharat Travel Limited.
Bharat Travel Limited was formed in 1997 by the present MD of the company, Randher Dhillon to takeover the business of his late father, Kuldip Dhillon who established the first Bharat Travel back in 1973. Since the establishment of the company in 1997 the business has grown based on providing quality coach hire and also by the move into local bus services, in particular the development of the 805 Northolt-Southall-Heathrow service.
However it became clear to the Company that the name of Bharat Travel Limited was becoming confused with a number of other London & Birmingham coach companies, who although had nothing to do with Bharat Travel Limited, were using similar names and not providing the level of service that Company prided itself on. We have therefore renamed the company Dhillon of London, bringing the name of the company into line with the family name of the owners and also introducing a new look.
Dhillon of London is still a family business and more than ever prides itself on its traditions of providing quality coach & bus services.
Dhillon of London has an extensive client base, for example with major organisations such as London Buses, BAA, London Borough of Hounslow, Buckinghamshire County Council and some of the UK’s largest coach tour operators. In addition the Company serves many hundreds of smaller clients across West London and the Thames Valley.
Dhillon of London presently has a fleet of 10 coaches, with plans to expand the fleet in the future. Through a program of investment new coaches are joining the fleet, the fleet is being converted to an all executive coach fleet and within the next three years it is the policy of the Company to have no coach older than 5 years.
Operating from a modern depot in Southall, Dhillon of London has a policy of total quality and all systems/practices are based on the best practices within the bus & coach industry. Company standards are monitored both by internal audit and external independent audit, ensuring that the Company always reaches the high standards it sets.

School Coach Hire
Today when you book a coach for a school trip, be it just for a day or longer, you need to know that the coach you hire will be safe, that the driver will be experienced, that the driver will know where he/she is going and that the coach will turn up at the time you have booked it.

The Express Services
Dhillon of London in conjunction with the following operators New Bharat Coaches, New Punjab, Thandi Travel, operates the following daily express services; There is no need to book on these services, just turn up and pay the driver, with all tickets being single tickets.

There are request stops at junction of the M1 for Luton and junction of the M1 for Sheffield. If you want to be put off at these stops, please tell the driver.

Tours
Dhillon of London is an experienced operator of coach tours, both for major tour organisations or individual groups.
Based within West London, 40 minutes travelling from the centre of London, 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport, 15 minutes from the M25/M4/M40 puts the Company in an ideal location to serve the needs of London and the South East.
We presently undertakes work for tour companies handling incoming tourists to the UK, companies providing tours to the UK market and based in the UK and also specialist work such as battlefield tours. Dhillon of London works for over 10 different tour operators in the UK.
We are happy to undertake work in the UK and across the whole of Europe.
Dhillon of London employ a small team of experienced coach drivers, of whom many have many years experience of coach tour work and all have a mature outlook. Our drivers are trained to the highest standards and are supported by a dedicated team within the Company.
To tour companies, tour coach companies and individual groups, the Company can provide the following services;
- provision of contracted executive tour coach and experienced driver
- tour planning for individual groups including hotel & ferry booking
- advice on tour itennaries
- emergency tour coach replacement
- tour coach feeder services
- short to extended tour periods considered
- painting into tour company colours for extended contracts

Corporate Business
Being based in West London means that we undertake a large amount of corporate work and have come to understand the needs of the corporate customer accordingly.
Our management team have extensive experience in organising transport for major events, working with corporate clients and in providing transport for VIPs.
We can provide the corporate customer with the following;
- Coach Hire - using our fleet of 49 seat fully executive coaches
- Chauffeur Car - need to move a VIP quickly and in comfort, we can provide a high quality chauffeur car.
- Group Travel - need to move a lot of people, we can arrange all your transport needs, we can take the stress out of organising your transport needs
- Shuttle Services - need a shuttle to move staff on a daily basis, we can design and implement a service to meet your needs. We can provide contracts on a 3, 6, 12 month basis or how many years would prefer.
- Park & Ride - need to provide off site staff parking, well we can provide the shuttle service and manage the car park on your behalf.
- Event Management - putting on a large event, need transport? We can handle all the arrangements for you, saving you the time. Our experienced team can determine what you need, agree a plan with you and co-ordinate the whole event.
